Strathcona’s Wholebeing framework was developed with the University of Melbourne to promote a holistic approach to education that nurtures the physical, emotional, and social aspects of well-being. This innovative program is designed to enhance both the happiness and academic success of students by integrating well-being practices into every stage of their learning journey. The goal of the Wholebeing framework is to create a cultural shift, where well-being becomes an essential part of the school’s curriculum, from Early Years through to Year 12. By prioritising the development of each student, the program aims to create a nurturing environment where students feel supported, balanced, and empowered to reach their full potential.
The School’s brand new Floresco learning philosophy centred around our Early Years program is deeply student-centred and fosters learning excellence by creating a nurturing environment where girls can thrive and flourish. Floresco views children as active learners within our community and emphasises joy and meaningful connections. Together with initiatives like the Envision program at our dedicated Year 9 campus, Tay Creggan, these innovations have created a thriving, connected school environment, strengthening Strathcona’s position as a leader in education and a school where unstoppable girls begin.
With a clear focus on innovation, Strathcona continues to shape the future of education, ensuring that every girl is equipped with the necessary skills, confidence, and resilience to succeed in a rapidly changing world. Our commitment to holistic development and excellence reaffirms the School’s dedication to empowering young women to reach their full potential.
